Beautifull pictures of a very special car.
I have seen one, and been all over it, when i visited the factory last year.
It was in the Ferrari engine works.

I believe there is one in Holland, someone told me he wanted to buy one, an other told me he did, buth i never saw it.
I'll investigate this a little.

Thanks for the pictures! It's a very special Ferrari and I really would like to see it in real. Btw; very rich driver. Greetz. Reiben. Fantastic pics Guido! I've seen the car very well. And heared him too. Unfortunately the motor chocked when he wanted to drive it, because it was só hot than and this machine is nog build for standing still for too long on a track. So they had to push him for his round. I've looked the car very well. i didn't know what it was, but I understood immediately; this is special!

I think you mean a replica. The now defunct Automusa used to have a replica build on a 328 chassis. Otherwise I am not aware of one in the Netherlands. There used to be one in Belgium with Swaters

Thanks for these very nice pictures of details of this beautiful car! You can easily spot some parts that are to be used in the F40

btw: The owner from the UK, drives the the only Tour de France Blue (dark blue metallic) FXX.

Robert, In short the 288 evo was the evolution based on the normal 288 GTO (hmm can't really call a 288 a normal car....). It was used to develop the F40. With some imagination you can see a F40 in it.

The one that is in the netherlands is a replica, didn't know that was on a 328 base. here are the pictures of this ca

I'm just such a 0,0 in F-history, models, etc. But with a little help, the knowledge is growing :).

I do remember that when I saw that guy sitting in his car, there was that kevlar 'board' left of him, and i thought; wow, that's a bit like an F40. Now I understand

This car is the ex-Swaters. Someone told me, that the new owner bought this car last year, so this could be also the same one, which was seen in the factory by "JWA\

Maybe he means the 308GT/M? It's from Mr. Koel. Does look a bit like the GTO Evo. There were 3 308GT/Ms made. When Mr. Koel saw one he called the factory and asked if they could make one more for him. And they did. :)
He drove it a lot at Zandfoort. I saw it ones at ItalAuto where Kees van Stokkum told me this story. :

No i didn't mean the 308 GT/M (talked with mr Koel at the relay, he told me all about how he got Ferrari to build him his, the number 3, GT/M)
Now it could be the one at Munsterhuis, i'll check that
