This is me, and my littlebrother, next to a F355 GTB, pics taken i France in 1997, and it is the first pics I'v got, of a Ferrari!
I remeber we drove on the motorway, and suddenly I saw this amazing red Ferrari (I was 8 years old then) and we drove with it, and he parked at the same parking-area as us!

In 1997 I already knew that, that car was a Ferrari, and I almost hang out of the window on the motorway, to look at it

Sorry no pictures, just a story.

When i picked up my 308 6 years ago i instandly drove it to Switserland to the Lago Maggiore to go on a vacation.
I met up with my brother, my sister in law and there two children a boy and a girl ( at the time they were 1 and 3,5 years) that were staying there on a camping.

When we took a drive trough the mountains the next day my cousin, the little girl that was 4 years then insisted to sit in my car.
At first we thougt that she would get out when we came to te street but no way.
When here mum wanted to get her out she started crying and clinging to the car so we put in a childrens seat and straped her up.
Looked fine with her little cap and sunglasses.
We drove around with te top off in the sunshine for about half an hour when she fell to sleep.

After a while we stopped in a town to do some shopping.
Because she (and here little brother in the other car) slept i dicided to stay with te cars and watch the children.
After about 10 minutes a van with german numberplates stopped and out came a man, a woman and i believe 3 childeren.
When they passed my 308 the man looked around and shouted to the woman:
"Look, Look a Ferrari with a childrens seat in it, i have to take a picturen of that"
You just had to see the look on his face.

Both my cousins love to this day to have a ride in the 308.
Just had them with me yesterday.

That is a fantastic story JW. Many thnks for sharing. I don't know what it is with children, but they instantly know the car is something special, and they like it and they are impressed. Even when they can't speak yet; at least they say; "fu-ai-ie''. Unbelieveble...

308 is an amazing car: My dream car of all my childhood. My dream was a 308 GTbiQV, red/black with front spoiler. I finally go for a 328 GTB, amazing too.
