Hi all,

I was invited by Tony, a friend of mine and also a member I believe (hi Tony!), to go to this wonderfull event.
On friday we flew by plane from Holland to Milano, where we picked up his 512 BB (carb'd !!) We drove the car to Maranello, and had a lot of fun!

More pictures will follow.

Ciao!

Hi

Cool pics Marcello!
I recognised that 512 BB from one of my photos! Saw it driving around in Maranello and later made a photo from my hotel, here it is..

Hi Alain,

Yes, that's us!! nice picture, haha!!

On Friday we saw a lot of Concours cars driving out of Maranello,
and Tony decided to join them with the Boxer, so we were actually in the middle of the action, and escorted by Italian Polizia motorbikes, BIG fun

It was in the evening, and the typical Italian light with the old buildings gave a unique atmosphere.

I always have a weakness for the Lusso and the Daytona Competizione.
Do you have seen one or more of that type

Marcello, Thank for the pictures! What a stunning Ferrari. In my eyes one of Maranello's finest gran turismos! The power of a GTO and the luxery of a 400 SA

The trip back home was indeed very special to me.
When I was a little boy I went with my family to Italy on holiday in 1981.
I was a big Ferrari fan already, and on our way back to Holland we were overtaken by a silver 512 BB.
We had to stop for fuel, and the BB was parked there!
In those days a 512 BB was the absolute ultimate supercar, together with the Countach. VERY impressive!!! Here's a picture of me with that car!

And now, 26 years later, I was driving a 512 BB myself to Holland!
It was big fun, and the car was fast, a lot of torque, and the sound was super! Thanks to Tony who trusted me to drive the car!

About the other questions: the Murcié needed a paintjob.

We had a technical Ferrari question for a Dutch Ferrari that had a little problem on the way to Maranello. They helped us with a manualbook.
In the mean time, I was able to take some shots.

Hi Roberto,

Fine with me, no problem.
The silver/black car at the Nürburgring looks like a 365 GT4 BB to me.
with the round shark front. 6 taillights, 6 exhaust pipes, very nice!

Thank Denmark!

Agree that the Lusso is a great Classic Ferrari.
I had the pleasure of driving a Lusso myself a few times,
and it's a very racy car to drive, low sitting, great sound, big speedo's in the middle of the dashboard, very special!
Here's your other request. Daytona Comp conversion.
I have not seen any other Comp. Daytona's over there.

Ciao!

Yes, here must be some guys (you and me included) standing next to each other - mostly when M.Schumacher was playing with the F 599...!
My wife shot the photos then with digi-cam, I took some pictures with my handy.

Cheers!
