Celebrations 60th Anniversery in Maranello: 23/24 june, Part 3, Schumi testing a F599

On saturday the 23rd, i decided to walk around over the track to see what Fiorano was all about. I started at 17.00u, made a lot of pics, went up the viaduct, enjoyed the view, and than walked downhill off the viaduct in the direction of the F1-boxes. When i was halfway, i heard a terrible noise from an engine and tires who were being tested. I started to walk faster and faster because I thought; what is that???!! Than, there came a car from the right side at the end of the track and turned around, creating a cloud of smoke, and than the car came towards to me.... it turned out to be a 599. Who was in it, that he was authorized ánd capable, to handle the car he did.... i couln't see, but than he turned, just a few meters from me away..

Did you recognize him?? IN the next shots you can see it better. Because after a few meters that he drove away he turned around again, and came back again, leaving a lot of BURNED rubber on the track, and creating a lot of smoke... its was, it was....

YES! you must have recognized him now: MICHAEL SCHUMACHER ! As you can see it was only a few meters away from me, and ther were only 4 more guys in my neighbourhood who saw it also. He turned again and again and again, making the lady next to him probably sick. But as you can see from the calm smile on his face he enjoyed it very much....

Than he drove a little distance away, to accelerate, and let the lady enjoy what speed is, towards the back of the circuit, but than came back again, making another quick turn, just in front of me..

(look at those very black rubber/tire-traces on the track!: woow!)

..., and again a 180* turn, and than back in the direction of enzo's house. In the meanwhile the lady obviously had seen mee taking photo's while gasping and therefor she put her thumb up to me, probably to say: this was EXCELLENT FUN!/I'am okay :D. Well I can understand that!

This whole experience only took a few minutes.

When we were back at Enzo's house we just saw her walking away with some other guy, talking about it, and I heard her say: "well, I had my drug today....!" :D :D. (terrific remark! :D)


And I won't forget this happening easily... ;)... It was just fantastic! It felt like a private demonstration from him to us, and it was absolutely great. Only from a few meters distance! Só nearby. Thank you very much Michael!

Very nice, this collection of pics!!! That even HE can have a lot of fun with this car says enough I think. He has driven the most extreme things on this earth, but this is getting close to the F1-experience when you look at his face :
