Like it? Love it! This is one of the most renowned Testa Rossa's on this planet. This car has won the 1962 24H of Le-Mans with Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien.

You could write a book on this car alone. It has competed in many races with the most respected drivers.

This car was sold during the RM auction in May 2007. Now i read it is on offer again. The next collector will be a lucky one...

oooeeeh hugo!: fantastic!! great. was it impressive to you? was it nice to see? (that 6,25, was your bid? :)).

but now, what i still wonder, and wanted to know; is it still running en where did it run for the last time than, if so. i don't mean racing in particular, just; is the car still be driven sometimes. and not; for years in a private collection in a nice museum of hall.

James Spiro, who bought it from the Bardinon collection, drove it on the streets on a regular base. I remember it being shown on Discovery Channel a few years ago in a special about Ferrari. He had it's own driving lights mounted.

Imagine you are a pedestrian, walking down the street and suddenly that car is racing by, wouldn't it make you whole day fantastic? :)

RM Auction, Maranello 2007

After that auction, there where rumours that the Ferrari was bought for a Dutch/Swiss Collection named Barron Racing. But that wasn'n the case.

It went for 7 Million to a Collector in Argentina. It's now showed on a flyer of the auction of 2009 even as the lovely black 250 GT California that went fot auction in 2008. But are they for sale or are they on the flyer for promotion?

Both cars are in the promotion folder to show that RM is getting high prices and get some owners convinced to sell them by RM.

I have one of these folders available.
