Hello. It's action on the circuit in Brno, and organized by the Czech club sports cars. And indeed there was a lot of nice toys. This club is exceptional that its members are truly learn from their cars to drive and use their potential to racing circuits in the Czech Republic and Europe-Spa and the Nurburgring . Attached this week here a couple of photos and some in other sections sportcars.

Rather exclusive rims so it seems? What is HRE, the brandname. Is it american? very special colour for that scuderia. Nice to have you here. I can understand why you want a 430. Members in Holland with a 430 are: jan_K, grazy355, en -F430- if there is anything you want to know/ask.
arizona... hmmm. how is the weather over there. Here it is cold and grey and rainy, 4-5 degrees C. yakkie :(. No weather to drive.

The gray F430 looks good, I just hate how the stock exhaust tips look. They look cheap. Tubi, Fabspeed or Kreis-seig Please......

Hi guys,
nice Ferrari pictures here around! I have some many pics of Ferrari's, I will post some of some special models, once, when I'm finished with selecting them...
@Vividracing: I can't understand, why you post the picture of the mintgreen Evo! Sorry for being so "direct", but this is a Ferrari Forum here and I don't expect to see any pics of Mitsubishi's or other cars, which has NOTHING to do and nothing in common with a Ferrari... Hope you understand my statement. In other Forum's the moderators are very hard in that case and delete pictures in case like that >> Robert?

I wasn't too fond about having the picture but didn't want to be rude to a new member by immediately removing it. but if others also don't like such pictures here, we will certainly delete it. i share your point of view too. though vividracing is a nice guy as far as i know. :)

In 1996 I visited the Maranello factory and had the opportunity to see the place where all crash test Ferrari's were parked. From 328's to a F50. It was an incredible experience to see all those wrecked special cars together.
Quite a unique site indeed. Having seen the documentary on National Geographic where they follow the build of a 599 (quite a good episode, tip to watch!) looking at this car graveyard a question arises. In the NG show they say that all the scrap metal when casting the different engineparts is being reused in the casting proces and is being remelted.
Seeing this vast amount of scrap metal I wonder why Ferrari don't use the metal in these cars for recasting Ferrari parts. When reused any stress that has been exposed to the materials will be gone due to the fact that it will be recasted and therefor strength will be added in the new component.

As far as I can see they already recycled a lot. It's a really once in a lifetime opportunity to visit this "graveyard". Did the looks of all those crashed Ferrari's make you sad Lodewijk? There are quite a lot of 456's among them isn't it?

Perhaps nowadays this is actually the case.
Remember that these are 14 year old pictures, maybe the recycling procedures have expanded over the years.

I don't think I was sad, but I felt it was such a waste of so many beautiful things one could have fun with.

I remember they dismantled the 'graveyard' a few years later, after some criticism.

Perhaps they relabeled it to "the infirmary" :P

These cars cannot be scrapped, parts can also not be re-used.
They must be kept for a certain amount of time as evidence on the performed tests.
The book Inside Ferrari, by Michael Dregni shows several graveyards.
In the old days bodybucks, prototypes and test vehicles were parked to rot away.
New chassis and bodies were stacked in open air without any paint, to rust before building them into a car.. No wonder Daytona's, Dino's rust easily..
