I am looking for partnr 120429. It is used on a 308, 328, 208 turbo, 288 and F40. Mine is broken. If anyone has an idea how it can be repaired, tips are welcome.
It is part 16 in the following link-exploded view

If I can see it right it is the housing of your steering wheel? If so, than it will be an aluminium part, that is very hard to repair. Order a new one, I see it is not so expensive by eurospares..

It is indeed the housing of the steering wheel. I tried to order it at Eurospares but it was 'out of stock'. I have asked several partssuppliers but have not found it yet. It must have been broken for some time but I have never noticed it. But since I know, I don't drive very relaxed so I want it to be repaired

Of course can we not see how bad it is, but Aluminium can be welded by specialists which you can find on the internet

Did you try Rareparts in the Netherlands? Or the official F-dealer? Otherwise indeed like Alfer said, a specialist in aluminiumrepairs. It's only cosmetic I think, so it could be no harm to drive with it, but it is like a small dent, the longer you see it, the bigger it gets..

I know someone who also have something with its steering column of his 308, and he also had found out it was very hard to get, his car was at Guus van Eijk, and i heard from him it will be repaired, as it cannot be found these days. Maybe contact him. See the ads-page. He is one of our 'helpers'

I hope it is aluminium. In those days a material I know as 'Tombac' was aften used and that can not be welded. Thanks for the info. I will contact Guus
