Modena Motorsport Ferrari Track Days Nurburgring 2007

For 12 years Modena Motorsport has been holding its Modena Track Days on the race tracks of the Nurburgring and SPA. This event now counts as one of the top Ferrari events in the world. The symbiosis between the almost complete Scuderia Ferrari F1 in action and the collection of historical cultural assets, combined with driving greats such as Jacky Ickx and Niki Lauda makes the Ferrari brand legend tangible. In this unique environment the guests can try out the limits of their cars and their driving skills. At the end of the event a top-ranking jury will choose the most beautiful cars with a Concours d'Elegance.

You've seen me at the Ring :)

It was a really great event, with amazing cars. Ferrari 250 GTO, 250 GT SWB, 275's, Daytona's, Enzo Prototype, all the F1 cars and more. Amazing too see all the cars driving around the track. And it was also the first time I saw a McLaren F1 GTR and Maserati MC12 racer!!! I loved it.
The wheater was good too, only a few rain drops :)

I am busy with mine. progress is slow, now working on my verrrrry slow backup pc, the other one crashed suddenly (couldn't take the beauty from pictures). I have double backup so didn't lose data :)

OF COURSE we DO Erik! The're fabulous! You seemed to be all the time exactly where the action was, or the right spot was to take pictures. And the quality is good also. I enjoyed looking at it very much, and will probably do that the next days again and again. I think Ricars and you have made a good overview from what was there to be seen and what happened. All the price winners together on the track from the concours d'élegance is terrific. Thank you very much guys

@ nofear: yess, there was a lot to see als you'll know.

Some pictures of non-ferraris will follow.
Maserati MC12 (maserati but a little bit ferrari, as you probably will know this car shares many chassis components with the enzo, als well as the engine. I see resemblence between the two. But the only exterior part that is exactly the same as from the enzo is the windshield ( i hope this is the correct translation from 'voorruit')
The engine noise is very ferrari-like too :D i like the MC12

Thanks! New lens is realy, realy great to work with. But we were so close to the action that a lot of trackpictures were made with 28-75 range :D

Really cool event. Special cars and so incredebly close to the action!

And as a special treat: walking after the pitbox and spotting two aston DBR9 beeing unloaded. I know, I know, It is not a Ferrari..... But still a really cool car!

Niels, great pictures man! Terrific. What is extra nice to see is that every photographer sees his own things. You have some pictures that the others one don't have. I like the pics of the tipo's f.i. And the trucks in a row. Of course the yellow daytona spyder in the full sun is fantastic. Wow; that one is certainly veeeery yellow :). Splendid! Thnx
